This policy explains what personal data ACE Masterclasses collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and plain.
Who we are
ACE Masterclasses (KvK 90512995), Gustav Mahlerlaan, Amsterdam, is the data controller for the personal data described here. For privacy questions, email privacy@ace-masterclasses.com.
What we collect
When you book a masterclass or request in-house training we collect your name, work email, phone number, company and any details you add (such as dietary needs or an invoice reference). When you visit the site we collect basic, aggregated analytics.
Why we use it
To deliver the training you booked, send confirmations, reminders and certificates, handle invoicing, and improve our courses. We only send marketing email if you have asked us to.
Legal basis
We process your data to perform our contract with you, to meet legal obligations (such as tax records), and on the basis of legitimate interest for service improvement.
Sharing
We share data only with processors that help us run the service (for example our booking, email and payment providers), under data-processing agreements. We never sell your data.
Retention
We keep invoices for seven years, because Dutch tax law requires it and requires them to carry the customer's name. Your participation records (your booking, the seat, the emails we sent you about it) are kept for the same seven years, counted from the date of the training, so that an invoice and the training it covers can always be read together. Anything not tied to a booking is removed when it is no longer needed.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to processing. Email privacy@ace-masterclasses.com and we will respond within 30 days. You may also contact the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
What a deletion request does
We empty your name, email address, phone number and postal address from your account, your orders and your bookings. Your invoices are the exception and stay exactly as they are, name included: keeping them is a legal obligation that comes before your request, and an invoice without the customer's name would not be a valid one. Your certificates are deleted along with the rest, so we warn you first and give you two weeks to download them. Once the file is gone we cannot reissue it.
